Raksiah has performed at hundreds of functions and events in and around Melbourne and in 2010 travelled to the USA to take part in the New York Theatrical Bellydance Conference where she performed.
She has had opportunity to train under well known artists such as Mohammed Shahin (Egypt), Mohammed El Hosseny (Egypt) Nourhan Sharif (USA), Ranya Renee (USA).
Later is 2010 Raksiah will also be heading to Egypt to further her study of folkloric dance under famous Egyptian dance masters Mahmoud Reda and Farida Fahmy.

When booking a bellydancer with ABDT your performance options include:

 

1 x 15 minute belly dance performance with or without props, roving or floorshow.
(suitable for private or corporate events, festivals and private parties)

 

or

 

2 x 10 minute belly dance sets with optional costume and prop change between performances. Roving of floorshow.
(suitable for larger corporate functions or events) 

 

extras

Optional extra 15—30 minute workshop with audience participants can be added to your performance.

            

Multiple bellydancers can be booked to perform for your event.

 

Egyptian, Turkish, Moroccan, Greek Modern or Fusion style performances and music can be requested.
(If you do not have a specific request upbeat Arabic pop and drumming music will be used)

 

Live accompaniment can also be booked for your event.

N.B. The minimum performance fee is $150.00 AUD plus travel time. All of our rates are in accordance with the MEAA performers award.
